Hosted near Redberry Lake, the Big Pelican takes riders on a winding tour of the Thickwood Hills, over rolling gravel hills and past whispering pines.
This event aims to create an accessible opportunity for community, activity and exploration to flourish in our own backyard.
Hark, on the horizon, the graceful pelican frolics with their friend the cormorant. Rolling wheat fields and friendly cows beckon you into the agrarian heartland of the province. The smell of Baba's perogies tickles your nose. Chikay, a deer crosses the road. Do your eyes deceive you or is that the ghost of Tommy Douglas?
